Are you a visual artist looking for an exhibition space in Minehead? We offer a dedicated venue for painters, sketch artists, and photographers to display their work in a professional setting.
Exhibition Features
Our space is designed to accommodate a variety of display formats, including:
- Large Format Displays – A total of 12 exhibition panels, including:
- Large front-facing window displays
- Reverse-side (inside) displays
- Wall-mounted displays using the professional STAS hanging system
- Each panel accommodates artwork up to A1 size (60 cm x 85 cm / 24″ x 33″)
- Canvas & Print Display
- 4 V-mount canvas racks for prints up to 36 inches long
- 40-pocket C5 portrait display stand – ideal for smaller works
- A4 rack stand for additional pieces
Security & Opening Hours
Your artwork’s security is our priority. We provide:
- An Exhibition Invigilator during opening hours (Tuesday – Saturday)
- Covert CCTV surveillance for added protection
Promotion & Marketing
We actively promote your exhibition through:
- Social media and electronic marketing
- Local publications and event listings
Online Sales Opportunity
Artists can also choose to list their work in our online store for up to one calendar year after any exhibition. This extended exposure provides an additional opportunity to sell your work.
- Sales commission: 15%
Exhibition Costs
- £375 per 5 days (Tuesday to Saturday) – includes a £100 non-refundable deposit
- 15% commission on sales

Terms & Conditions for Exhibiting
1. Exhibition Setup & Take Down
- Setup: Exhibitors must set up their artwork on the Tuesday morning of the start day.
- Take Down: Artwork take down must start at 1:00 PM on the Saturday your exhibition ends.
- Assisted Setup & Take Down: An Exhibition Invigilator can assist with setup and/or takedown at a cost of £150 per service.
2. Late Take Down Policy
- If takedown has not begun by and hour after your exhibition ends, the invigilator will handle takedown at a cost of £150.
3. Artwork Storage & Collection
- Storage Fee: If artwork is not collected, a storage fee of £25 per 24-hour period (or part thereof) will be charged.
- Unclaimed Artwork: If artwork is not collected within 28 days of your exhibition ending, we reserve the right to dispose of it as we see fit.
4. Payment of Exhibition Fees & Additional Charges
- The balance of the exhibition fee is due 14 days before your exhibition start date.
- If payment has not been received within 7 days of the start date, we reserve the right to cancel your exhibition and you will forfeit the booking deposit.
- Any additional fees (e.g., late takedown, storage) must be paid before any Artwork is returned until all outstanding balances are settled.
5. Sales Commission & Payment
- A 15% commission is due on all sales made during the exhibition.
- This commission will be deducted at the time of sale.
- Any remaining balance due to the exhibitor will be paid via BACS transfer on the Monday following the end of the exhibition.
6. Public & Products Liability Insurance
- The exhibition space is covered by Public & Products Liability Insurance with a Limit of Indemnity of £10,000,000.
- This covers liability for injury to members of the public or damage to third-party property in relation to the exhibition space.
- Exhibitors are responsible for insuring their own artwork against damage, theft, or loss.
